Toby got his bike back yesterday after he dropped it in Llandudno and it had to go for repairs. So thought we'd do an extra long day heading south to Leominster. We could have taken the option to come back up, but thought we'd go west to Builth and then go up through Rhayader. We went off the main roads to Llanidloes, but that was a mistake, it was a bit slower and the roads a bit narrow. Still great views and the ride was good, but would prefer the main roads with sweepers.
We had a very lovely lunch in Rhayader, can't remember the name of the cafe as there's quite a few, but it was very nice and the food was good.
